Course Description
This short Workshop Safety online course provides you with an introduction to workshop safety, and starts by explaining what is meant by the term ‘workshop’; it then explores some of the regulations which govern workshop safety.
After that, it covers the risk assessment controls that can be put in place to safeguard people and property against the dangers posed by work in the workshop environment. Then, it looks at the basic workshop safety rules you must follow before you start working, whilst you’re working, and when you’ve finished your task, along with ten general, yet vital, safety rules to abide by whilst you go about your daily work.
Finally, to finish, the course looks at the most common types of workshop accidents.
